Introduction
MARVELit DASH‚Ñ¢ is an open source DASHBOARD solution based on the Apache Jetspeed 2 Enterprise Portal and MARVELit Dashboard Portlets. Unlike other business intelligence solutions available, DASH strives to simplify the process of creating and maintaining a web based business intelligence dashboard for all users.
DASH Installation
- Server and Operating System , Basic server requirements, operating systems, JAVA versions needed and Setup
- Data Base Preparation , Create Data Base Schema and User Access for Jetspeed 2.1 Installation
- Download DASH v2.0 and Install Jetspeed ,Download DASH v2.0, UnZip and Install Apache Jetspeed 2.1 Enterprise Portal
- Install MARVELit WAR and Build DASH Tables ,Install the WAR file and Build required DASH SQL Tables
- Startup DASH and Deploy WARs ,Startup DASH for the first time and deploy WARs - performs basic configuration
- Install DASH Layouts ,Move specific layouts and XML files to folder destinaitons
- Final Portal Configuration ,Add DASH Role, Setup DEMO Dashboard, Final Tweaks, Advanced Topics
