Install DASH Layouts

Drag Contents to Jetspeed Folders

To make the configuration of your DASH applicaton easier, we have modified some of the standard files to create a starter dashboard. This will get you up a running in no time. Since each installation may be different we did not create an install script - so you will copy certain files and folder contents into the folders specified. This step is crucial to the success of your default installation so do not deviate from the locations and double check your transfers.

Double click the MARVELit Layouts folder in your DASHv2.0 install folder. Here is the contents of that folder:

copy to / Jetspeed2.1 / webapps / jetspeed / WEB-INF / apps / jetspeed-layouts / WEB-INF

server.xml file

copy to / Jetspeed2.1 / conf

web.xml file

copy to / Jetspeed2.1 / webapps / jetspeed / WEB-INF

Pane Layouts Folder Contents

copy to / Jetspeed2.1 / webapps / jetspeed / decorations / layout

Portal Layouts Folder Contents

copy to / Jetspeed2.1 / webapps / jetspeed / decorations / portlet

Delete J2-Admin Folder

Delete the following folder / Jetspeed2.1 / webapps / J2-Admin

Delete the folder only - do not delete the J2-Admin.war file. The folder will be re-built on the next start-up of DASH.
