Managing Groups

Certain groups should be set up and assigned to users. The common groups may be ACCOUNTING and EXECUTIVE

To Maintain groups - Select the main menu item JETSPEED ADMINISTRATIVE PORTLETS and pull down to SECURITY ADMINISTRATION than to GROUP MANAGEMENT.


Adding Groups

After selecting Group Management, the Group Management Portlets are displayed. Enter in a new Group Name and click the SAVE button.


Editing Groups

Select the Group and the EDIT Group portlet is displayed.


Modify users assigned to that group by clicking the Add Users to Group or Remove Checked Users buttons. Remove Groups or Add New Group by clicking the appropriate buttons.
