Introduction

MARVELit DASH‚Ñ¢ is a open source Business Intelligence solution based on the Apache Jetspeed 2 Enterprise Portal and the popular JasperReports reporting application. Unlike other business intelligence solutions available, DASH strives to simplify the process of creating and maintaining a web based business intelligence dashboard and centralized reporting for all users.

MARVELit DASH Installation

• Server and Operating System , Basic server requirements, operating systems, JAVA versions needed and Setup
• Data Base Preparation , Create Data Base Schema and User Access for Jetspeed 2.1 Installation
• Download DASH v2.0 and Install Jetspeed ,Download DASH v2.0, UnZip and Install Apache Jetspeed 2.1 Enterprise Portal
• Install MARVELit WAR and Build MARVELit Tables ,Install the WAR file and Build required MARVELit SQL Tables
• Startup DASH and Deploy WARs ,Startup DASH for the first time and deploy WARs - performs basic configuration
• Install DASH Layouts ,Move specific layouts and XML files to folder destinaitons
• Perform Final Portal Configuration ,Add DASH Role, Create MARVELit Administration pages, Final Tweaks
